1. Overview
Watch Later is designed to help you organize and filter your saved YouTube videos into clean collections and folders. We prioritize privacy: we do not sell your personal information, run ads, or track your browsing across the web.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum data required to run the service:
- Account details: Your name, email address, and profile picture provided when you sign in via Google or email.
- YouTube playlist metadata: Titles, video IDs, channel names, thumbnail URLs, and durations from playlists you explicitly choose to sync.
- Payment details: One-time payment processing is handled entirely by Dodo Payments. We never see or store your full credit card number.
3. How We Use Information
Your information is used solely to:
- Sync and display your playlists within your private library.
- Organize videos into custom collections, categories, and duration filters.
- Provide Model Context Protocol (MCP) server responses when you connect an AI assistant (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor).
- Maintain your lifetime access license.
4. YouTube API Services
Watch Later uses YouTube API Services to retrieve your playlists. By using our service, you acknowledge that you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
You may disconnect your YouTube account or delete your Watch Later account at any time from your settings page. Upon deletion, your synced playlist data and account information are permanently removed from our active databases.
6. Contact Us
If you have any questions or requests regarding your data, please contact us at support@watchlater.app.
